DASCOM Americas, a recognized leader in complete business printing solutions and marketer of Tally® and Tally DASCOM serial impact dot matrix (SIDM), specialty, and thermal printers today announced a new addition to its line of printers.
The LA1000 is the company’s fastest model that includes the popular, niche-specific, DEC® emulation.
With print speeds up to 1,000 characters per second, a heavy duty print head with a rated life of 750 million characters, a rugged design, and superior aesthetics, the LA1000 is positioned to handle heavy workloads in multipart forms printing environments where looks and performance are keys.
Lance Clark, National Sales Manager for North America at DASCOM says of the printer: “Many customers continue to operate in environments that require DEC® emulation. The LA1000 addresses that market at a high level. We believe the speed, the durability of the printer, and the forms flexibility will be a winning combination. If customers are operating in a DEC® environment they will find the LA1000 to offer some unmatched features at a price that is very affordable.”
Juan Vidaurrazaga, Vice President of Sales, adds; “The LA1000 is representative of our philosophy at DASCOM Americas. We have seen there is a felt need for this type of product and have responded with a solution that will address the user’s issues. While a lot of other companies may not be deeply rooted in printing, our philosophy remains to be the most responsive in product development. We want to provide complete answers and the LA1000 is another step in that direction.”
The printer will be available through a network of regional and national resellers.
