DL-310 joins DL-210 and DL-820 in DASCOM Thermal Label Line
DASCOM Americas, a recognized leader in business transaction document print solutions, today announced a new value-priced desktop thermal printer with exceptional features. The easy-to-use, attractively designed DL-310 offers a host of connectivity options along with enhanced functionality and exceptional print density. The DL-310 complements other printers in the DASCOM thermal label line that includes the DL-210 and DL-820 models. The new printer helps to round out complete thermal label solutions.
The DL-310 provides thermal transfer and direct thermal printing at speeds up to 4 inches per second at a 300 dots per inch (dpi) print density.
The printer comes with USB interface as standard, but also offers a host of connectivity options. These include Serial, Parallel, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth. In addition, the printer offers the most popular standard emulations including EPL, ZPL II, and TSC.
Capable of printing up to 984 feet (300 meters) per day and with Black Marker Sensor as standard, the DL310 performs well in industrial environments or heavy use areas and offers easy media loading and handling. The Black Marker Sensor is particularly convenient for users and eliminates waste while making working with media much simpler and less frustrating.
According to Lance Clark, National Sales Manager for DASCOM Americas: “The DL-310 is a great addition to the DASCOM family of thermal label printers and builds on the success we have had with the DL-210 printer. Users will enjoy great versatility with this model since its open architecture allows easy operation and simplicity to change the paper roll or ribbon. Customers will also have the ability to easily switch between some of the most popular barcode printer emulations including ZPL and EPL, and TSC programming and label formats.” He adds: “The unit comes with a paper tear cutter than can be upgraded to an automatic label cutter. And, thanks to a wide range of sensors it is possible to use black labels, gap labels, continuous labels, or thermal paper depending upon the user’s specific needs. This flexibility puts the DL-310 at the top of its class for value, performance, and versatility.”
The DL-310 will be distributed through a network of regional and national channel partners of DASCOM beginning November 3rd.
DASCOM Americas headquarters are located approximately 2 hours south of Washington, D.C. The company offers a wide selection of serial impact, thermal, and specialty printers marketed under the Tally® and Tally DASCOM brand.
