Retransfer printing is the next level of on demand card printing technology.  The image is first printed on an intermediate film and then transferred from the film to the card.  Utilizing a high-resolution 600 dpi printhead, the resulting images are vibrant, high-definition and fully over the edge of the card.  This technique is suitable for heavy duty printing with improved card reliability and thus suitable for a large variety of card types, such as:
